About Cameron

Cameron has been passionate about music since he was a very young age, beginning to learn guitar and drums at primary school, then from the age of 10 he joined Livewire Youth Music where he had access to Live Sound, Music Lessons, Band Development and Recording Studio skills.

Aged 13 he performed at a 90's special project concert at Livewire where he played Bass, Guitar, Drums and Bongos on different numbers throughout the show. The line up that performed Metallica's Enter Sandman at this show formed a band, with Cameron sharing Guitar and Bass duties in the early days and going on to become the lead guitarist, the other band members were 4-5 years his senior. The band (Minor Offences) went on to be a popular band on the local circuit and released a single, an EP and a music video, which had great reviews and gained lots of airplay around the world on internet radio.

While playing in the band Cameron achieved grade 7 in GCSE Music and also started his RSL grades in Drums and Guitar.

After secondary school he attended DBS Music College in Plymouth Studying Btec/RSL Music Production.

Meanwhile Cameron has honed his Live Sound skills at Livewire Music Project and in the Summer of 2021 he joined Nub Sound Ltd for work experience, working on their Tunes In The Dunes and Bands in the Sands events (with acts such as Newton Faulkner, Seasick Steve, Fat Boy Slim....). After which he was offered a fully employed role with the company and had to quit his job as a chef for the 2022 festival season to be able to work on the the events of the summer, which includes Tunes in The Park with Tom Jones Tunes In the Dunes with Shaggy, The Kooks, Paul Weller, Ziggy Marley and many more....

As the pandemic eased in 2021 and live music returned to pubs Cameron was given the opportunity to engineer the sound for the third stage at the Turbulence festival in Plymouth, he impressed so much he became one of the resident engineers for The Junction and The Underground in Plymouth.

Cameron has now relocated to Bristol where he is in his second year studying BSc Live Sound at Dbs Bristol.
